Tom is a product of Long Island youth soccer, who has returned from a nine year professional soccer career in Europe and the United States. Following his NCAA Division 1 career at
Farleigh
Dickinson
University , Tom played Swiss First Division with FC St. Gallen for 3 years. He competed against some of the top clubs in the world such as Fiorentina, Bayern Munich, Inter Milan, VfB Stuttgart and many others.
Tom returned home to play for the New England Revolution under current head coach Steve Nicol and also played for the New York Fever, Long Island Rough Riders, Boston Bulldogs, as well as the Puerto Rican National team.
In 2006, Tom in his first season, coached the Long Island Lady Rough Riders to the USL Women’s play-offs. Tom has also worked for LIJ ODP and NYS ODP as a head coach. He is currently the Boy’s Head Varsity Coach at Smithtown West and is the PTO (Professional Training Organization) of the Smithtown Kickers soccer club. Tom is also a NYS certified Physical Education teacher.
