Top Teams In The Region...

The following teams will represent Long Island Professional Soccer this Spring as they compete in some of the top leagues in the region. Region 1 includes teams from 15 states as north as Maine and as south as Virginia.

U13 Boys---Smithtown Arsenal trained by Tom Lips---Colonial Regional League (1st premier season)

U14 Girls---Smithtown Revolution trained by Pete Schmitz---Eastern New York Premier League (1st premier season)

U15 Girls---Smithtown Spirit trained by JR Balzarini---Northeast Regional League (2nd consecutive premier season)

U16 Boys---Commack United trained by Tom Lips---Region 1 Premier League (4th consecutive premier season)

U16 Boys---Smithtown Sonic trained by Chris LaRochelle---Northeast Regional League (3rd premier season)

U16 Girls---Smithtown Attack trained by Marty Hearney---Northeast Regional League (4th consecutive premier season)

U17 Boys---Smithtown Wizards trained by Tom Lips---Region 1 Premier League (4th consecutive premier season)

These teams will compete against some of the top teams their age in the region starting the first weekend of March. We wish them all the best and are proud that our list of top level teams continues to grow.

FIRE CONTINUES GREAT STATE CUP RUN
U12 Girls Turning Up The Heat...

The Smithtown Fire, U12 Girls trained by Nicole Herzog continued their great state cup run on Sunday when they beat the Commack Intense Stampede in penalty kicks on the 6th shooter to advance to the quarterfinals of the state cup. The Fire will continue their state cup tournament in the Spring when they face World Class 97/98. Currently, the Fire are 2-2 in Division 1 and are looking to build on this past weekend's success. We wish them all the luck this Fall and come Spring in the state cup competition.

WAGS HERE THEY COME
2 Teams Heading To WAGS For Columbus Day

The Smithtown Spirit, Girls U15 and Smithtown Attack, Girls U16 have both been accepted into the WAGS Tournament, which will take place during Columbus Day weekend. WAGS is the top girls tournament Columbus Day weekend and a top 10 tournament in the country consistently year in and year out.
