TREMENDOUS SUCCESS CONTINUES
State Semi's Is Next...

The Smithtown Arsenal (BU-11), trained by Tom Lips, advanced to the State Cup semi-finals after a 3-0 win over Rivertowns Rapids. The Arsenal will face Manhattan Kickers in the semi-finals on May 17th in Smithtown. The Arsenal are also tied for first place in S1 in league action. PREMIER LEAGUE ACTION
Wizards And United Pick Up Some Points...
Commack United (BU-14) and the Smithtown Wizards (BU-15), both trained by Tom Lips, played in Northeast Regional Premier League action this past weekend. The United beat Empire State Alleycats 2-0 to remain in the hunt for the Red division championship. If Commack wins the Red divsision, they will play the winner of the Blue division for an automatic bid into the Region 1 Premier League next Spring. Commack United is also in the semi-finals of the State Cup with their 2-0 win over New Rochelle Revolution. Commack will face FC Westchester 1994, where the winner will go to the State Championship game. The Smithtown Wizards picked up an additional 4 points this past weekend with a 1-1 tie against NH Classics and a 3-0 win vs. Coastal SC. The Wizards finished with 10 points and ended their season with a 4 game unbeaten streak. We wish both teams the best of luck with the rest of their Spring season.

The following is the training schedule for the Spring 2007 Smithtown Kickers Goalkeeping training. We have added additional trainers to keep the groups small. The turnout has been great!

The following are the program details:

Time: 4:30-6:00pm U10, U11, U12
         6:00-7:30pm U13, U14, U15

Location: Don Santorelli Soccer Complex (Moriches Field)

Dates: Monday’s
March: 10, 17, 24, 31
April: 7, 14, 21, 28
May: 5, 12, 19

We encourage that you send players down for training, especially those from the U10, U11 and U12 teams. Thanks and see you on Monday’s.

WIZARDS PICK UP 6 POINTS IN NERP
2 Big Wins For Smithtown...

The Smithtown Wizards, B-U15 Northeast Regional Premier team, played two games this past weekend against Soccerplus Inferno and the Brooklyn Italians Azzuri in league action. The Wizards beat Soccerplus 1-0 in the morning game and came back in the afternoon to pick up another three points in league action. The Wizards beat the Brooklyn Italians, also by a 1-0 score. This gives the Wizards six points in league action and finish their premier season this upcoming weekend against NH Classics and Coastal SC. BIG WEEKEND FOR COMMACK UNITED
Pair Of Premier Wins and a State Cup Victory...
Commack United, B-U14 Northeast Regional Premier team, had a three game weekend this past weekend and won all three games. Saturday, Commack beat Bruno United 2-0 and Seacoast United 5-0 to move into a tie for second place in the Red Division with three games left in the league season. Sunday in State Cup action, Commack faced last year's State Finalist Bayside Aston Villa Flames and after a 2-2 tie in regulation, Commack was victorious on penalty kicks to advance to the Round of 16, where they will face the Lake Grove Vipers. Congrats boys on a great weekend and continued luck this Spring season.
